Sweet spots for pricing and ultimately selling a home in and around Maggie Valley and Waynesville (or, in other words, price ranges of homes that are selling right now) continue to hover between $100,000 to $300,000, judging by the number of sales during the past 6 months, and the list-to-sell percentages. High-end sales are ’sluggish’ … 687 days on market for the 1 sale of a $900,000 home.

This residential real estate snapshot reflects active listings as of the morning of February 17, 2010, as well as closed and pending transactions for January 1 through February 17, 2010 for Haywood County NC (including Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Canton and Clyde).

  • Average Listing Price for the 265 Maggie Valley listings is $339,942. The Average Days on Market has risen to 289.
  • Average Listing Price for the 499 Waynesville listings is $341,738. The Average Days on Market is 281.
