I was hungry for some color late yesterday afternoon in Maggie Valley NC. The Leather Shack and Seven Silver Seas gave me what I wanted!
Weather was wet and rainy, and the stores were closed for the day, but they sure brightened up the day with their colorful exteriors.

Hunters Love Maggie Valley’s Hunter’s Paradise Army and Navy Store.
The Hunter’s Paradise Army & Navy Store in Maggie Valley is located on the right, just past Ghost Town in the Sky and the Cataloochee Ski Area turnoff on Soco Road. The easiest way to know you have arrived at the Army & Navy Store is to look for the old Jeep parked in front of the store.

Elvis Is In the Christmas Shop at Maggie Valley’s Famous Cabbage Rose!
Cabbage Rose was busy and festive yesterday (Sunday), and I was able to take a few photos to provide a glimpse of the magical Christmas shop inside. Unfortunately I did not have my tripod; however, I’ll have it with me next time so I can take more pictures as they have some great Cowgirl ornaments I photographed for my horse website that turned out blurry, darn it.
