Look What I Found Playing in the Maggie Valley Snow on Moody Farm Road!

How cute can you get? I had to pull off Moody Farm Road in Maggie Valley late yesterday afternoon to try to catch a picture of this precious dog! I hope Scott and Troy see this photo.
I’ve heard this dog owns Maggie Valley’s famous Cabbage Rose.

Paula Deen to Open Restaurant at Harrah’s in Cherokee [Asheville Citizen-Times]. Minutes from Maggie Valley.
–> CHEROKEE — Harrah’s Cherokee Casino & Hotel has announced a partnership with Paula Deen Enterprises to open Paula Deen’s Kitchen in late 2010. This will be Harrah’s first new restaurant to be introduced as part of a $633 million, three-year expansion program. “I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of Harrah’s Cherokee Casino & Hotel,” said Deen. “I couldn’t think of a better mix – southern food and casinos. It has all the ingredients for a good time.”The restaurant will be a full-service, seating 404, and will be buffet-style, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Decor will be similar to Deen’s restaurant in Savannah.
Adjacent to the restaurant will be a 1,800-square-foot Paula Deen retail shop offering cookbooks, spices and food items, cookware, logo wear and gifts.
“We are honored to welcome Paula Deen’s Kitchen to Harrah’s Cherokee Casino & Hotel,” said Darold Londo, senior vice president and general manager of the property.

Is Real Estate Taking a Calf Nap in Maggie Valley?
Hmm, is real estate taking a calf nap here in Maggie Valley? What do you think?
When I crave (more than usual) to be around farm animals, all I have to do is drive down Soco Road to Market Square (see same pasture with snow – 3rd picture) – - – right across from Market Square in Maggie Valley is a pasture containing cattle, and another confining a horse. Late yesterday afternoon the cow pasture looked to me like a nursery!
Too bad real estate isn’t as ‘cute’ as this little calf.
