Snow-covered Jonathan Creek Area on Hemphill Road in Haywood County, NC ~ 12/24/09.
The farm country lining Hemphill Road in Jonathan Creek was quite beautiful with a big snow cover lingering the other day (12/24/09). The Hemphill Road area is about five minutes (if that long) from Maggie Valley, and has rolling hills, mountains, cattle and Christmas trees, almost as far as the eye can see.
Boyd Mountain Log Cabins and Christmas Tree Farm is located on Hemphill and I did a little drive through in the video but didn’t go beyond the pond because it was Christmas Eve. The old barns and cattle operations all along Hemphill make for a very scenic drive, no matter what time of year it is.
Cobblers Knob is a nice subdivision off of Hemphill Road and the entrance is pictured in the video.
