Here is a video of what it looked like in and around Maggie Valley NC during and after our big snow storm December 18th and 19th.

Driving around town late Friday afternoon as the snow was falling and the roads were icy probably was not one of my most intelligent moves. My punishment thereafter was no power and no internet for several days, but today (Monday) is starting out quite well ~ I have power, internet and hot coffee. Still can’t get out to go to the store yet, but I’m hoping this afternoon after a bit of sunlight the roadway will allow my escape.

It’s a beautiful and white Monday in Maggie Valley!
