November residential sales to date in Haywood County total 28 as of November 22. The absorption rate at our present rate of sales for the month can easily be explained this way: Our inventory of homes could last 32.9 months; however, historically November, December and January sales are not indicative of our ‘best’ selling times anyway. Regardless, we still have way too much inventory on the market, and it’s taking longer to sell homes this year than in the previous 5 years.

Residential sales to date for this month are broken out by price range as follows:

  • $000,000 – $100,000 =  3 sales
  • $100,000 – $200,000 = 14 sales
  • $200,000 – $300,000 =  9 sales
  • $300,000 – $400,000 =  1 sales
  • $400,000 – $500,000 =  1 sales
  • $500,000 – $600,000 =  0 sales
  • $600,000 – $700,000  = 0 sales
