One of the most common ‘wants’ on a home buyer’s list when they come to Haywood County is to have a home on a creek. Interesting to note no water flows into Haywood County. Each and every creek, stream and river in the County actually originates here.

Listen to the reason many people want to live on a creek. (This video was filmed Sunday, October 25, 2009, in Maggie Valley.)

Here’s a map showing the creek we were on that runs parallel between Moody Farm Road and Soco Road.
