Maggie Valley Restaurant … Maggie Valley’s 2009 Business of the Year.

Maggie Valley’s 2009 Business of the Year, Maggie Valley Restaurant, has been ‘Maggie’s Family Eatery’ since 1952, serving good ole’ Southern cooking all day long. I LOVE that their menu says:   ‘Breakfast Served All Day.’

Yesterday I met Rick “looking for real estate can make you really hungry” Smith at Maggie Valley Restaurant. He didn’t realize I was going to ‘Flip’ his food. Rick had a grilled turkey sandwich (notice – in the video – the fat piece of turkey wedged between those 2 slices of grilled bread), and I talked my way through a 3-cheese omelet with red potatoes and a biscuit (side of gravy on the side). Our food, by the way, was served very quickly, and our waitress was very friendly and efficient.

Other menu items include a 6-0z. ribeye ‘cooked in gravy;’ meat loaf ‘made from scratch;’ N.C. trout; chocolate chip pancakes; and peanut butter pie. Yes, they have fried chicken, pulled bar-b-cue, turkey and dressing, and ‘early bird specials’ too.

Maggie Valley Restaurant is open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 7 days per week, May through October.  Located at 2804 Soco Road, their phone number is 828-926-0425.
