Photography Workshop at Waynesville Armory with Bob Grytten, Dennis Oakley and Jerry Stone.
Bob Grytten, Photographer, held a photography workshop yesterday at the Waynesville Armory featuring Dennis Oakley and Jerry Stone. Bob, a very talented and experienced photographer (and artist), teaches numerous great photography classes every year, several of which I have been fortunate to attend.
Dennis discussed ‘post production’ issues and software (i.e., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Elements, Adobe Lightroom, Apple Aperture, and Nikon NX2), raw vs. jpeg, workflow, etc. We all walked away with a great information packet from Dennis full of big gold nuggets of information!
Jerry reviewed HDR photography methods and software by way of an instructional CD and his own extensive experience, and he too provided us with many gold nuggets to help us through our first stabs at HDR photography on our own.
If you are interested in upcoming photography classes, you can reach Bob at 828-627-0245.

Suzie:
I didn’t know that you are a reporter – fist class, I might add, at that. What a nice clip on the Post Production Workshop. I’m sending it around.
Good to see you again. I would like to do an ongoing program on getting published with photo/text packages. Any ideas on how to get about six-eight people together for something that could be more ongoing than one time?
I met Bob Grytten some years ago when he brought a club up from central Florida to Wakulla Springs, Fl and I also helped him take them to St Marks NWR. I have not spoken with him since and would love to make contact with him again. If you could pass my email address on to him along with this note I would appreciate it…or send me his email address so that I could write directly to him…that too would be appreciated. I wrote a couple articles for “f/8 & Being There” newsletter that he published. Thank you. Willis T. Bird
I wish I had found this site before because it is great!
