Haywood County 5-Year Residential Real Estate Sales Comparison.

This is a pretty ‘true’ view of our 2009 residential sales market (through June 5) in comparison to previous years. Interesting to see that we are back to 2005 ‘average selling prices’ … almost. The number of closed transactions, however, is the lowest in the five reported years, and it is taking longer to sell homes in 2009 (average of 176 days).

The average selling price of the 4 closed transactions so far in June is $187,325, and the average listing price of the 5 June pending sales is $164,000.
