The Market Snapshot for Haywood County, NC as of today (10/22) below reflects an average selling price of  $179,437 for the 30 homes sold to date in October, which continues to be on the decline. The most expensive home sold in October to date closed at $400,000, and the least expensive home closed at $55,000.

Average Listing Price/Absorption Rate.

The average listing price of the active listings of $376,699 reflects that there are homes on the market that are not in line with the present market as it is today.  Our absorption rate/inventory (27.36 months based on this month’s projected sales) continues to be high.
