Alltop, confirmation that I kick ass

Soon the Secret Sauce of Fall Will Be Marinating Maggie Valley.

The mountains of Western North Carolina are starting to flicker with the colors of Fall.  Soon the beautiful log homes and ‘mountain’ homes sprinkled all over the beautiful mountains of Haywood County, NC, including Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Canton, Clyde and Lake Junaluska, will be beautifully exposed by naked trees.

UPCOMING FALL EVENTS

Haywood County NC Fairgrounds - September 22 thru 29 - Fair

Downtown Waynesville/Main Street - Apple Harvest Festival - October 18

Even though this past weekend was warm, it didn’t feel warm when I was photographing this store and it’s festive fall displays!  Maggie Mountaineer Crafts in Maggie Valley is a charming country store full of many unique items (don’t go there if you are in a hurry!).

I wanted to comment again on how much I enjoy your photos. Flowers really aren’t my thing, but the area pictures help me feel better when it’s been too long between visits to Maggie.

    Thanks again!
