Haywood Regional Medical Center Waynesville NC – Statement of Deficiencies
The local newspapers are providing great information regarding the problems at Haywood Regional Medical Center, including the 78-page Statement of Deficiencies.
The Compass Group, in town to assist HRMC with a recovery plan, is quoted this morning as saying:
“The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) at the federal and state levels are keeping careful watch on organizations, resulting in more unannounced visits, removal of deemed status, and serious threats to the financial viability of organizations.”
